Trace Tribute is coming!

I've been spending a lot of my riding time out riding some new trails that we're going to use for the Trace Tribute Endurance Ride. I am the designated Trail Designer, so it's my job to piece together trails for the various distances. We're going to have 30, 50 and 75 mile divisions in our ride this year.

Angie, the ride manager, has done a great job working with land managers and owners to allow us access to our trails, base camp and away vet check location.

In 7 weeks, ride management will be in a flurry of activity. I'm lining up my volunteers to help me mark miles and miles of trail. My friends, Eva, Roger and Debra will be helping me mark trail. I'm trying to rope a couple other friends into agreeing to help as well. Daniel will help with marking where vehicles can go.

As much as I have to do, I know Angie has a million more details. Lots of work goes into putting on a ride and my part in Trace Tribute gives me a better appreciation for workers and management of other rides.
